Gel Nails Course
SHBBNLS008: Apply gel and dip powder nail enhancements
This course is designed for those wishing to develop the skills and knowledge to begin a career in the nail technology stream of the beauty industry. It requires the ability to consult with clients, select suitable products and techniques, and apply gel nail enhancements that include overlays, colour gel, refills, tips and French. The gel nail enhancement service can be an individual service or form part of a series of services. This unit applies to beauty therapists and nail technicians who work in beauty and nail salons, and spas. On success completion of the course, you will be able to prepare for gel nail service, remove gel enhancements, apply, refill or repair gel nails, review service and clean service area.
Duration
Total estimate including home study and assessment is 80 hours. To graduate and receive your award certificate, you are required to complete all the course requirements within three months after commencement date of the course in accordance with the ABTA student policies and procedures.

Tuition Fees
Course is $250. Includes $100 deposit, non-refundable. Plus you are required to purchase a Nail tool Kit at $65 or a full Gel Nail starter kit at $350 from ABTA prior or on the course commencement date.
Payment total amount needs to be paid at least one week prior to commencement date. The fee above covers the cost for all module notes and use of all products, disposables in the academy.
